Lillemor is 100% organic merino wool. The merino wool is from South America and mulesing free.
Merino wool is one of the softest wool qualities, as it is very thin fibers and thus the perfect choice for delicate (baby) skin. Merino wool has several natural properties such as temperature regulation, sweat absorption, protects against sweat odor and is both dirt and water repellent.
Lillemor is ecologically superwash-treated so that it can be washed in a washing machine according to the washing instructions on the label. The Superwash treatment used for Lillemor is made without the use of chlorine. Organic chemicals are used, which are neither harmful to nature nor to people. The treatment takes place during the dyeing process with hot water and high temperature pressure boiling tanks.
With an Oeko Tex Standard 100 Class 1 certification, Lillemor is tested for harmful substances. Class 1 refers to a product class that includes products for babies that have the strictest requirements and limit values.
