Fluffy Border Vest by Irene Lin
The Fluffy Border Vest designed by Irene Lin is a top down vest. It is a quick project knitted on large needles. It can be knitted using one strand of our Farm Lovers- Undyed Eco Baby Alpaca Worsted yarn for the body, to replace her double strand yarn. For the borders, one strand of our Natural Curly Mohair from Farm Lovers yarn can be used. Together, they create such a warm, soft and cuddly body warmer.
We have knitted a sample of this design which is represented in the photo. It is knitted using Undyed Eco baby Alpaca Worsted in colour Camel Brown, paired with Natural Curly Mohair yarn, both from Farm Lovers. This combination of natural colours and pure natural fibres create a nice vest reminiscent of a traditional shepherd vest, uplifted in a modern design.
Per purchase, you will get the required yarn amount for the chosen size, and both printed and PDF of the pattern (in English). We purchase the pattern from the Ravelry store of the designer for every individual customer. Gauge: 12 sts x 16 rows = 10 x 10cm in stockinette stitch after blocking.
Needle: 8mm for the body, 7mm for the borders
