Cardigan No. 6 Kit
Cardigan No. 6 by My Favourite Things
Cardigan No. 6 designed by My Favourite Things is a top down cardigan. It has an allover lace pattern and a relaxed wide silhouette to create a delicate vintage-looking garment. The lace pattern is inspired by the Japanese master Hitomi Shida and her book ‘Japanese Knitting Patterns’, but changed and adapted to be entirely unique. On needle 5mm, it knits up quickly, tempting to elongate the length...
We have made a sample of this design with two strands our Nanna yarn from Permin. The natural-coloured alpaca in the yarn contributes to the softness and fluffiness of the garment, while the cotton content ensures the cardigan has sufficient structure and hold. The result is a soft, light, and cloud-like cardigan. The sample in the photo is made in colour Off White (01). The length of the sample is longer than the one in the original pattern.
Per purchase, you will get the required yarn amount for the chosen size and the original length of the design, together both printed and PDF of the pattern (in English). We purchase the pattern from the Ravelry store of the designer for every individual customer. If you'd like to make a longer cardigan as our sample, please contact us through Chat fro advise about the required extra balls of yarn.
